Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) together with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) organized Krungsri-MUFG Business Matching Fair 2017 successfully matching over 430 pairs of business partners, including companies from Thailand, Japan, and other countries in ASEAN. Abound with opportunities, the event paved the way for Thai companies to expand their businesses to international arena. Krungsri and MUFG also joined hands with the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) under a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote overseas investment.

The number of participants from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam surged well above last year’s event. Companies from Philippines also joined the event for the first time. The success clearly reflects our capalibilities and strength of Krungsri-MUFG’s global business network.”

This year, participating companies included those from a wide range of industries, such as food and beverages, consumer goods and medical care. The event also attracted the interest of first-timers from real estate and elderly care industries.
Moreover, at Krungsri-MUFG Business Matching Fair 2017, Krungsri, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) and BOI signed an MOU with an aim to support cross-border trade for enterprises from Thailand and Japan. Under this MOU, investment activities will be jointly held to foster prolific growth of Thai operators wishing to invest abroad and Japanese operators wishing to invest in Thailand.”
