Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Limited (BTMU), a subsidiary of the Mitsubishi UFJ Finanacial Group (MUFG), Japan’s largest financial group and one of the world’s largest financial organizations announced an appointment of Mr. Pornsanong Tuchinda, Krungsri Executive Director and Senior Executive Vice President, to the position of Executive Officer (EO) of BTMU. The appointment marks the first nomination of a local senior executive to BTMU’s top management position.
Mr. Pornsanong has been recognized and respected as one of the key influential bankers within the Thai banking community, this appointment, therefore, recognized his exemplary caliber. As one of the key leaders in driving Krungsri towards a top-tier financial group in Thailand, Mr. Pornsanong – under his new roles – can surely further leverage his global networks and perspectives and capture business opportunities in empowering Krungsri to the new height of success.
Mr. Pornsanong’s new position and roles will be concurrent to his current roles as Executive Director and Head of Commercial Banking at the Bank, and he will continue to be based in Bangkok. Through his EO mandate, Mr. Pornsanong will officially represent Krungsri in performing BTMU EO duties and conducts, wherein he will share Krungsri’s competitive and unique capabilities while networking with and attaining MUFG's best practices and global perspectives.
