Foreign Draft Sell

Foreign Draft Sell Service
To make payment for purchase of goods, services or of educational expenses overseas, a foreign draft is a convenient, secure and cost-saving option for you. Bank of Ayudhya will issue a draft in the currency and ordered to pay for the recipient as specified so that, once delivered, the recipient can deposit it into the overseas bank account. In case of loss, you can notify the Bank to cancel such draft and reissue a replacement one.

*From 2 January 2022 onwards, foreign drafts in HKD are offered at Rama 3 Branch only.
**Foreign drafts in GBP are offered at Rama 3 Branch only.
***This service is reserved only for the clients who have verified their identification subject to the Bank’s conditions. For those who have not done so, please contact your branch to verify your identification subject to the Bank’s conditions prior to use of service.

Foreign Draft Sell Service via KOL

Krungsri Online Foreign Draft Sell Service
Regardless of where you are, a mere access to the internet will enable you to order a foreign draft to make payment conveniently and securely for purchase of goods, services or of educational expenses overseas at your fingertips through draft order delivery service via Krungsri Online.

How to apply

Go to www.krungsri.com and choose Krungsri Online.
Select “International Transfer”.
Select “Buy Foreign Draft”.

Fees

THB 200 per bill
Stamp duty of THB 3 per bill
If you do not wish to pick up a draft yourself at the branch, the Bank is pleased to deliver it by domestic registered mail at the rate of THB 100 per bill.
You may purchase drafts of no more than USD 20,000 or equivalent per day, and no more than USD 10,000 or equivalent per transaction.
Foreign customers can make transactions no more than THB 99,999 per day.

Purchase of Foreign Bills

Purchase of Foreign Bills Service (Cash Letter Basis)
Bank of Ayudhya offers purchase of bills issued by foreign banks ordered to pay for you for collection purposes. Through global networks in various countries worldwide, the collection duration will be faster.

*From 17 January 2022 onwards, the purchase of foreign bills in GBP (Pound Sterling) under cash letter basis is terminated. Only foreign bill purchase under collection letter basis is available.

Collection of Foreign Bills

Collection of Foreign Bills Service (Collection Letter Basis)
You can deposit different types of foreign cheques, e.g., bank draft, personal cheque, cheque made payable to a juristic person or money order to be sent by the Bank to the issuing financial institution overseas for payment collection and remit the fund to your account as soon as the collection result is acknowledged. Through global networks in various countries worldwide, the collection process will be faster and economical.
