Supporting documents for service application
  • Krungsri savings account (individual) with passbook or online savings account without passbook or savings accounts from other banks (only savings account with passbook) including Bangkok Bank, Krungthai Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives and Government Savings Bank.
  • Identification Documentation
    • For Thai: Valid ID card or passport or other photo cards issued by Thai government agencies
    • For Foreigner: Valid passport or other photo cards issued by Thai government agencies
How to transaction
There are two simple ways to receive money with Western Union by phone, just call 0 2296 2345 every day.
Prepare the information
  • Krungsri account bank number applied for the service
  • Krungsri debit card number tied with the deposit account
  • 10-digit MTCN code
How to transaction via automatic system (IVR)
  • Dial number 0 2296 2345
  • Press 1 to make money receiving transaction from Western Union
  • Press 1 to make transaction via automatic system
  • Make a transfer following the provided simple steps
    1. Press 10-digit Krungsri account number
    2. Press 6-digit Debit card code
    3. Press 10-digit MTCN code
    4. Press specify the amount that will be received without the decimal numbers
    5. Select a currency (Baht currency / Foreign currency)
    6. Select the purpose for receiving money
    7. Listen to terms and conditions and press “Accept”
    8. Listen to summary of information and press “Confirm”
    9. When the transaction is complete, money will be transferred to your Krungsri account*
*Account holder name must match the payee name as specified by the sender with Western Union only
How to transaction via phone
  • Dial number 0 2296 2345
  • Press 1 for making the transaction of receiving money from Western Union
  • Press 0 to contact customer service agent
    1. Inform customer service agent of personal details for identity verification
    2. Inform the details of transaction
    3. When the transaction is complete, money will be transferred to the customer's registered account*
*Account holder name must match the payee name as specified by the sender with Western Union only
* For customer who make a Western Union transactions of 50,000 THB or more via telephone channels, Krungsri ATMs, Krungsri Online and Krungsri Mobile Application (KMA), please contact any Krungsri Bank branches to update your identity information from 1 April 2022 onwards.
