Simply drop by one of our branches to apply for an outward remittance service via SWIFT.

 

You can use the service to settle your purchases of goods and services, tuition fees for your children’s overseas education, etc by providing related payment details (recipient’s name/account number, the beneficiary bank, SWIFT or IBAN code).

How to apply
  1. For Krungsri Online members with existing User ID and password
    Log on to the Krungsri Online system and select the menu “Transfer” then the sub-menu “International Transfer”. International fund transfer transactions can be made via Krungsri Online immediately after applying for the service.
  2. For non Krungsri Online members
    Customers can choose between  2 options.

    2.1 For Krungsri Visa Electron, Krungsri ATM, or Krungsri Visa Debit Cardholders
    Apply via the online registration service by following these steps
    • Go to home page of www.krungsri.com and click on Krungsri Online menu from the right menu tab to enter the log-in page of Krungsri Online and change to English page.
    • Click “ Register now”
    • Click to apply for the service for “Krungsri Visa Electron, Krungsri ATM, or Krungsri Visa Debit Cardholders”
    • Fill in the required information, set User ID and password
    2.2 For non-holders of Krungsri ATM/VISA Electron/ VISA Debit card or Corporate customer
    You can apply for Krungsri Online service using the application form by following the steps below.
    • Go to the home page of www.krungsri.com and click on Krungsri Online menu from the right menu tab to enter the log-in page of Krungsri Online and change to English page.
    • Click “ Register now”
    • Individual customers click to apply for the service for “Non-holders of Krungsri Visa Electron, Krungsri ATM, or Krungsri Visa Debit Card”. Corporate customers click “For corporate customers”
    • Complete the application form. Click the box “Use the International fund transfer service”. Print and sign the application form and submit it, together with the supporting documents as described in the form, to any Krungsri branch. The Bank will advise the application result via postal mail and/or email at the given address within 7-14 working days.
    When approved, you can log in to Krungsri Online system and select the menu “Transfer” then the sub-menu “International Transfer” to begin the international fund transfer transactions via Krungsri Online immediately.

Outward Remittance Service via Krungsri Online
Be assured of a quick, accurate and secure money transfers with KRUNGSRI Online at www.krungsrionline.com. Money transfer is never made this easy to recipients around the world anytime and anywhere.

Outward Remittance Fees via Krungsri Online:
  • Charge to beneficiary in case the beneficiary takes burden on foreign bank charge: THB350 per transaction
  • Charge to remitter in case the remitter takes burden on foreign bank charge:
  • USD or other currencies: THB 1,150 per transaction
  • EUR or GBP: THB 1,550 per transaction
  • JPY: THB350 per transaction plus a foreign bank’s charge of 0.05% of the remitted amount or a minimum of JYP 5,000.
  • Any transaction outside of working hours, after 1630 and on Saturday, Sunday and national holidays shall be processed the next working day and the exchange rate on the transaction date shall be applied
  • Users can check the status of the remittance via the service channel at any time.
  • Each transaction must be above USD100 or the equivalent for other currencies but not more than USD20,000 or THB680,000 or the equivalent per transaction and must not exceed USD50,000 or THB 1,700,000 or the equivalent per day
  • Serves up to more than 19 remittance purposes such as Payment of goods, Freight charges, Goods insurance claims, Other fees and commissions, Cost of advertising, Cost of construction, Cost of telecommunications, Medical expenses, Compulsory royalty or patent, trademark and license, Travelling expenses (Thai tourist), Expenses of public servants / embassy and embassy’s staff, News and information service fees, Income repatriated by workers, Educational expenses, Private grants Savings or family allowances repatriated by a foreigner, Transfer of inheritance to inheritor with permanent residence abroad, Transfer of money owned by Thai with permanent residence abroad, Transfer of money to family or relatives with permanent residence abroad, Other fee
  • Senders of remittance must be a natural person.  The recipient can be a natural person or juristic person.
  • Should there be questions after the transaction, the bank may request further supporting documents.
  • Time taken for remittance transfer may vary depending on destination bank processes and time of receipt of remittance varies according to time zone and banking hours in each respective country.
  • In the case that the international transfer instruction has been transmitted to the beneficiary’s bank but has been rejected by such bank for a reason not attributable to the Bank. The Bank shall return the received amount transferred from the beneficiary's bank to The Applicant’s account excluding commission/fees and other expenses (if any). In this regard, the Bank’s prevailing T/T buying rate at the time of return shall apply.
  • Transactions must be in accordance with conditions and regulations of the Bank of Thailand.
  • Krungsri reserves the right to withhold service for remitters or recipients who are in the OFAC List or groups or prohibited groups as specified in sanctioned countries.
  • The bank reserves the right to change, amend or revoke conditions without prior announcement.
 
Remark :
*Some banks may collect expenses from receiver, depending on the regulations of that bank.
**If additional fees are collected by receiving foreign banks, actual additional fees shall be collected from transferors.
