is a service where you can transfer money overseas anytime, anywhere in real-time by using the mobile number of the beneficiary.
 

Descriptions of Service

Money transfer from Thailand to Singapore
With krungsri app, you can make an international money transfer by specifying the mobile number registered for PayNow service of the beneficiary in Singapore. Once you confirm the transaction on krungsri app, Krungsri will send the transfer order to the recipient's bank in Singapore for a real-time funds transfer. You can instantly acknowledge the results of money transfer via the app.
 
Money transfer from Singapore to Thailand
You can easily receive money transfer from Singapore, simply register your mobile number for Krungsri PromptPay service. When the origin bank in Singapore sends a money transfer order using your mobile number, Krungsri will deposit the funds to your account linked with the mobile number and you will be notified of the money receipt via SMS after the bank has successfully deposited the funds to the account. If you have registered for krungsri app service, you can also check the inward remittance instantly via the application.

International Transfer from Singapore to Thailand (Inbound)
Condition of beneficiary • Beneficiary must register Krungsri PromptPay with his/her mobile number
Transaction Period • 24 hours Daily
Information used for receiving money transfer • Beneficiary’s mobile number registered for Krungsri PromptPay
Available account types • Current, Savings and Special Savings

Transfer amount • Limited up to 25,000 Baht/ transaction/ day/ customer
• The beneficiary receives the full transfer amount in Thai Baht (THB)

Notification • Via SMS and krungsri app notification (in case that the beneficiary using krungsri app)
Activation • Subscribe/unsubscribe the service of inbound money transfer from Singapore through the following channels:
- krungsri app
- Krungsri branch
(For customers who have already registered for Krungsri PromptPay with a mobile number with Krungsri before September 7, 2022, Krungsri has already provided the inbound transfer service in order to comply with terms and conditions of the Bank of Thailand’s regulations.)
Terms and Conditions for International Transfer Service
  • Transactions made outside the Bank’s office hours after 16:30 hrs., Saturday-Sunday, and public holidays will be processed on the next business day using the exchange rate as at the transaction date.
  • The service user can check the status of international transfer transactions through the channels where the service is used at any time.
  • Remittance per transaction shall not be less than USD 100 or equivalent for other currencies, but not exceed USD 20,000 or THB 680,000 or equivalent/transaction and not exceed USD 50,000 or USD 1,700,000 or equivalent/day.
  • It supports more than 19 remittance purposes, such as import and export goods, freight, goods insurance claims, other fees and commissions, advertising fees, construction costs, telecommunications costs, health service costs, trade royalty/copyright, travel expenses, government service charges/embassy and embassy officer service charges, information service charges, income repatriation, educational expenses, remittances to overseas families, remittances of Thai permanent residents, inheritance of overseas permanent residents, grant for private sector—savings or alimony for families repatriated by foreigners, and other services, etc.
  • The sender shall be an ordinary person. The beneficiary may be an ordinary person or a juristic person.
  • Krungsri may subsequently request for additional supporting documents in case of any inquiries.
  • The transfer period to the beneficiary depends on the process of the bank in the destination country. The period for international inbound remittance depends on the difference in time zone and the bank's business hours of each country.
  • In the case that the transfer order has already been sent to the destination bank, but such order is rejected by the destination bank on the grounds that it is not the Bank's fault, Krungsri will transfer the money back to the user's account according to the amount received, excluding transfer fees, other fees and/or other related expenses. The Bank shall apply the exchange rate based on the T/T Buying Rate as at the date on which the Bank transfers such amount back to the user's account.

Terms and Conditions for Krungsri International PromptPay between Thailand and Singapore Service
  • The sender and the beneficiary shall be ordinary persons.
  • The sender shall register and make the transaction through krungsri app only.
  • The sender in Thailand shall register for Krungsri PromptPay service and the beneficiary in Singapore shall register for PayNow service with the beneficiary’s mobile number.
  • This transaction can be made daily 24/7. Krungsri will process the transfer in real-time and the result of the transfer can be checked immediately.
  • Transfer amount
    • Outbound transfer : the total amount is limited to SGD 1,000 /transaction/day/krungsri app User. (However, the total amount of international outbound transfer through Swift and Krungsri International PromptPay under krungsri app shall not exceed USD 50,000 or equivalent and shall not exceed THB 1,700,000 per day.)
    • Inbound transfer : the total amount is limited to 25,000 Baht/transaction/day/bank customer.
  • This service is available for the remittance under the purpose of 'Personal expenses' only.
  • In the case that customers transfer the incorrect amount and request for a recall from Singapore, there will be an additional fee charged by Singapore Bank. Krungsri reserves the right for customers who notify their intentions to the Bank within 30 days from the transaction date.

General Conditions
  • Krungsri shall collect transaction fees based on the announced rate.
  • The beneficiary's fee depends on regulations of the beneficiary’s bank.
  • Krungsri may charge additional fees from the service user based on the actual situation, in case that an overseas bank collects additional fees; e.g. expenses of the overseas bank/ request for cancellation order/ recall, etc.
  • The transaction shall be subject to the Bank of Thailand's terms and requirements.
  • Krungsri reserves the right to make any amendments, changes and cancellations without prior notice.
  • Krungsri reserves the right to refuse providing the service in case that the sender or the beneficiary is in the OFAC list or a group of persons or prohibited groups of persons identified representatives of sanctioned countries.
